Paul Cosentino has been a full-time musician and band leader for over 30 years. Specializing in classic jazz and popular music from the 1920’s- 40’s, Paul plays an antique Albert System clarinet which helps give him a wonderfully distinctive sound not often heard today. Paul also performs on alto and tenor sax as well as vocals. Paul has a large repertoire of tunes encompassing the Great American Songbook, written by some of the best-known composers of the jazz age. In addition, he is adept at early New Orleans jazz, Swing era and big band riffs, and everything in between. Paul is well known for always delivering an enthusiastic, energetic and powerful performance.

Paul Cosentino founded and has led the Boilermaker Jazz Band since 1988. The Band has performed at festivals, swing dance exchanges, and concert series across the US and abroad including: Midsummer Night’s Swing at Lincoln Center in NYC, The Smithsonian Institute Concert Series in Washington DC, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, West Coast tours from San Diego to Vancouver BC, 2 European Tours, and 2 trips to Korea.
